Diwali preparations often begin with a simple question: what should we keep ready for guests? Alongside sweets, a selection of Gujarati Diwali snacks gives everyone something savoury to enjoy. Chorafali, Mathiya and Thapda are familiar festive favourites, and choosing the right packs makes planning your snack selection easier.

This guide helps you choose from Jainam Papad’s Diwali Special collection, whether you are shopping for a family gathering, trying a smaller pack or putting together a mixed selection.

Chorafali, Mathiya or Thapda: where should you start?

Start with what your family enjoys, then add variety. You do not have to buy every product to build a thoughtful Diwali snack selection. One familiar favourite and a second option can be a useful starting point.

• Chorafali: Choose the 200g Chorafali pack when Chorafali is already on your festive shopping list.
• Mathiya: Add the 200g Mathiya pack for another traditional Gujarati favourite alongside Chorafali.
• Thapda: Include Thapda in a 200g pack when you want a third option in your selection.

Choose a smaller pack or a mixed combo

If you want to try a smaller pack before planning your full order, Jainam offers Mini Chorafali in a 120g pack and Mini Mathiya in a 120g pack. These options also let you add another product without choosing a larger pack.

If both Chorafali and Mathiya are household favourites, the Chorafali and Mathiya combo brings them together: two packs of Chorafali and two packs of Mathiya, making four packs in total. Check the current product page for pack details and pricing before you order.

Plan your Diwali snack order in three steps

1. List the occasions. Think about family visits, guests at home and any snack selection you want to share. This helps you plan without guessing how many packs you need.
2. Choose your mix. Pick individual products for flexibility, smaller packs to try an option, or the Chorafali and Mathiya combo when you want both.
3. Check the order details. Review product information, your delivery address and the shipping policy. Allow time for delivery rather than leaving your order until the last moment.

The right quantity depends on your household and how you plan to serve the snacks. Pack weight is a useful comparison point, but it is not a fixed serving count.

Preparation and storage: read the pack first

Before serving any product, check its pack for preparation instructions, ingredients, allergen information, storage directions and the best-before date. Product photographs show the packs; they do not replace the instructions printed on them.

Follow the storage directions after opening as well. If you are preparing snacks for guests with dietary requirements, check each product’s ingredients rather than assuming that every item in a collection has the same recipe.
